Choosing a summer camp in Ireland can be a difficult - and expensive - task.
Part of the reason is that there is so now much more available, regardless of wheter your child is interested in sports, arts, music, science. Often time parents are just looking for somewhere safe and fun to care for their children while they are at work.
Below are some of the most popular from all over Ireland, but there are many more local camps and classes available - some already published on YourDaysOut.
The Rediscovery Centre has partnered with NCAD to present Green Enterprise summer camps for young and emerging entrepreneurs. The one week camps will run on 8 - 12 July and 15 - 19 July. Second level students will work in groups over five days to develop a sustainable business idea that they will pitch in a Dragons' Den style presentation on the final day. These camps are free to attend but must be registered in advance.
2) Designer Minds
Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Maths (STEAM) are subjects that can help shape a child’s future and the Designer Minds camps throughout Munster are the perfect place to have some hands-on fun. The classes are best suited to seven to thirteen-year-olds and the emphasis is on learning through fun with challenging experiments and projects.

Starcamp run their performance, fun & games based summe camps in over 200 towns across 32 counties. It is aimed at all boys and girls aged 4-12, with the emphasis on building every child's confidence through music, dance drama with some arts & crafts and fun games thrown in too.
4) Fitzone - Clontarf & Sandymount
Fitzone is a multi-activity camp for 4-12 year olds from 9am - 3pm (longer hours can be arranged) and activities include swimming, soccer, basketball, adventure play zone, arts & crafts, outdoor play, tag rugby and much more.
5) Cul Camps
Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camps provide children with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games.

Family day camp with fun activities including canoeing and biking, with 100% of the proceeds going to Barnardos children's charity
Brigit's Garden is joining forces with Down to Earth to bring a summer of woodland adventures with forest school inspired summer camps.
With a philosophy of learning through discovery and experience, the week-long residential camps teaches critical-thinkning and problem solving through fun outdoor activities, art and technology. Camps take place in either Rockwell College or Delphi Resort.
