Birr Vintage Week and Arts Festival
The 51st programme includes a fantastic opening parade, the Ormand Flying Club's Annual Fly-In and display; the Olde Time Traditional Fair, free children's events, antiques and fine art fair, live music, sporting and literary events, nightly pub entertainment and a spectacular fireworks display.

Fairy Trail | Malahide Castle & Gardens
Enjoy the Fairy Trail at Malahide Castle with fun sculptures, fairy houses and lots of other hidden gems to find. Little visitors are invited to use the interactive booklet to solve clues and answer questions on their way around the trail. Children under four go free!

The Maiden of the Mournes International Festival
The opening parade takes place on Sunday and events continues all week including children;s disco, Beat on the Street, Special Needs Fun Day, fancy dress, Teddy Bear's Picnic and more. There is a spectacular fireworks display on Thursday night and the Maiden of the Mournes 2019 is crowned next Saturday evening.
Over 60,000 people will once again decent on Tullamore on Sunday for a fun-filled family day out featuring highly-contested livestock competitions.
Activities for the family include live music, children's areas, petting farms, toy displays, live demonstrations on machinery, cookery, new inventions, fashion shows, top class entries into livestock, cookery, art, crafts, dogs and many more sections, there's something to entertain all the family.
Admission may be cheap but the quality of the Festival certainly isn't. Live music over three days featuring Samantha Mumba 90's Revival, Scouting for Girls and more for only €3 makes this one of the best value festivals around. Also, children Under 12 are Free! There is a family fun day on Sunday afternoon too.
Fota Wildlife Park Summer Events
Fota Wildlife Park has been running a series of fun and educational events this summer. This weekend visitors can enjoy yoga classes at Cypress Lawn with Bikram Yoga Cork. There are two classes on Sunday that are free with your admission but booking in advance in essential as spaces are limited.
The annual festival concludes this weekend with a Family Fun Day on Friday and music from Johnny Brady, Robert Mizzell and Michael English.
Natural History Museum of Ireland
