Hullabaloo Children's Arts Festival
Hullabaloo is for toddlers to 12 year olds and is the biggest midlands festival of Theatre and Arts for children. Events this weekend include Finger Puppet and Drawing Workshops, Dabbledoo Music, Dance Games and Marty Moncrieff - The Teddy Bear Thief in Birr Theatre & Arts Centre.

International Uilleann Piping Day
The ninth annual International Uilleann Piping Day takes place on Saturday 2nd November. Last year over 50 events took place worldwide and it’s a great reason to gather local pipers together and also a great opportunity to introduce people to the instrument. Events can take any format, piping performances, talks about the pipes, “try the pipes” events or workshops.
There will be spooky and tasty goings on in Kerry this weekend as Halloween meets Taste of Waterville on Friday with a Tapas Trail and live music.
Featuring more than 70 artisan food and drink producers as well as cookery demonstrations from a mix of local chefs including Bryan Mccarthy, Greene’s, Kevin Ahern, Sage, Chad Byrne, The Brehon, Patricia Messom, The Stuffed Olive, Mark Funston, Berehaven Lodge and Lee Scahill, Market Lane. Super Valu ambassadors Kevin Dundon and The Happy Pear will also make a welcome return.
