The winners of 2017 YourDaysOut awards in Ireland have been announced

The YourDaysOut audience has spoken and we are delighted to announce the winners of the YourDaysOut awards 2017.

We have had thousands of votes over the last few weeks in our search for Ireland's most popular days out.

It was very clear from all the strong entries, that there are so many fun things to do all over Ireland, whether you are planning a day out, a day trip or even a school tour.

Research shows that one out of every five domestic holiday trips is families travelling with children (850,000 per annum) while one in ten overseas visitors are travelling with their family.

Tourists don’t make decisions in isolation and research nearby attractions when considering hotels and the latest tourism barometer from Failte Ireland* shows that marketing campaigns have helped business performance in 2017.

YourDaysOut has been nominated for Best Digital Start-Up 2017 and is a great place to start researching your next trip, birthday party or family break.

To find this year's winners, we divided all the entries into various activity categories and you voted for your favourites.

And boy, did you vote!

We had thousands of votes all spread across 161 entries in 9 different categories. Some categories were so competitive there were very few votes separating the winners

Each category has an overall Gold Winner and three Silver Runner-Ups.
