Situated on the shores of Lough Neagh, the Lough Shore Park in Antrim is a popular destination for visitors and residents at all times of the year. It is an area steeped in history and natural beauty with many attractions and activities to enjoy.
During the summer months there is a range of events including Sunday Band Concerts and Children's Entertainment every Sunday afternoon from June to September (weather permitting).
Other events at the Lough Shore Park include the Dragon Boat Race in June, the Teddy Bears Picnic in August and Winter Wonderland in December.
The Lough Shore Park is a magnet for those seeking relaxation by the water’s edge. The attractive surroundings make it the ideal spot to spend a few hours enjoying a picnic, feeding the swans or walking along the many pathways.
There are two slipways, one for jetskis and the other for boats and canoes, which provide access to the Lough. The Lough Shore Coffee House, offering a range of hot and cold snacks, is also open all year round.
Between March and October and weekend only during February and November, the Six Mile Water Caravan Park within the Lough Shore Complex provides 37 electric hook-up caravan pitches and 8 tent sites. Onsite facilities at the Caravan Park include a TV Lounge, a games room a reception area, a laundry room, a dishwashing room and a visitor information area.
