Riverbank Arts Centre is County Kildare’s Arts Centre; it is based in Newbridge which is less than 45 minutes from Dublin city centre.
Riverbank Arts Centre hosts a programme of local, national and international productions including theatre, music, opera, comedy and visual arts.
The venue comprises of a 180 seat auditorium, Children’s Gallery, McKenna Gallery, a contemporary gallery hosting both local national and international artists, and a café. Riverbank Arts Centre is a member of Nomad Theatre Network which furthers the development of the performing arts in the North Midlands region and extend the parameters of regional, national and international performances available to venues and their audiences.
Riverbank Arts Centre is also a member of Strollers Touring Network which is a network of 10 Theatre/Arts Centre venues located across Ireland.
It is currently the largest touring network in the country. This enables the centre to bring the best of national theatre to the county of Kildare while also providing visitors to Kildare the opportunity to see some of the best produced theatre, music, comedy and opera on our stage.
