The Irish Military War Museum offers a fascinating insight into Irish participants’ involvement in World War One, World War Two & other historical conflict.
The Irish Military War Museum, covering 15,000 square feet of floor space, will represent a distinctly non-political but ‘must see’ educational and historical resource for people of all ages and from right across the island of Ireland and beyond.
We have a range of facilities to cater for school tours, tourist groups, scouts or large parties.
The museum is privately owned by William Sullivan, his passion for collecting first started at 8 years old after he was given a marksman coin passed down by his granddad. He describes his passion for collecting and sharing as a hobby gone mad.
Unlike most museums, William likes to let visitors have a hands-on approach to the collections which is rare to find in a museum in Europe.
So come along and join in on events and even take a ride in a tank! There's something for everyone.
